Three ways to the Wuling pass (3275m, Hehuanshan)

One of the most iconic places in Taiwan is the Wuling pass, where the road reaches a staggering 3275m. It’s of course known as a great place to hike with mount Hehuan (no mountain permits needed), and the finish line of the yearly KOM challenge, where you bike through the Taroko gorge up this point. This is however not the only way to get there, as there are three roads leading up to this epic spot. Below are the routes for these three approaches.

Taroko – Wuling – Lishan
Yilan – Lishan – Wuling
Puli – Wuling
